TRINH founded BLKBURN after a career in fashion design working with Joseph Abboud, Phillip Lim, and Perry Ellis. With over three decades spent collecting Vietnamese artifacts, military surplus, and wartime ephemera, his work explores the intersection of history, utility, and craftsmanship. BLKBURN reflects that perspective, reconstructing authentic military garments into timeless pieces while preserving the character and stories embedded in the originals.

GROSSMAN oversees Brand Strategy and Business Development for BLKBURN. With over 20 years of experience spanning the entertainment and fashion industries, including leadership roles at Columbia Records, he brings extensive expertise in brand development, strategic partnerships, and retail growth. His work has helped place products with retailers including Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Fred Segal. At BLKBURN, he helps shape the brand's long-term strategy, market positioning, and retail partnerships.
MERCHANDISING
DORRELL serves as Merchandising Director for BLKBURN. With over 20 years of experience in luxury retail, including leading Men's Contemporary Collections, Designer Footwear & Accessories at Saks Fifth Avenue, he brings a deep understanding of product, assortment, and the evolving luxury customer. His perspective helps guide BLKBURN's collections from concept to market while maintaining the studio's commitment to craftsmanship and authenticity.
VISUALS
CONNOLLY has spent more than 20 years working across fashion branding, advertising, and creative direction. With experience at Nautica and a background leading creative teams and brand campaigns, he brings a refined understanding of visual communication to BLKBURN. His work helps shape the studio's identity across print, digital, and product, creating a cohesive visual language that supports the brand's enduring aesthetic.
