Introduced during the Vietnam era, the OG-107 field shirt became a cultural icon, later adopted far beyond the military. Each piece is lightly finished with our signature BLKBURN Field Wax, adding depth, texture, and subtle weather resistance.

Known for its distinctive camouflage and oversized utility pockets, the Woodland BDU is reworked with hand-painted details, contrasting duck canvas elbow patches, and our signature BLKBURN Field Wax for added texture, water resistance, and wind protection.

One of the military’s most recognizable camouflage patterns, reworked through the BLKBURN lens. Each pair is individually overdyed to deepen the original tones, then raw-cut and left with an intentionally unfinished edge for a worn-in, reconstructed finish.

    CREATIVE

    TRINH built his career in fashion through roles at Joseph Abboud, Phillip Lim, and Perry Ellis before founding Milt Studios, where years spent documenting Vietnam's military veterans and the clothing of the era sparked a lifelong fascination with military dress.

    That work became the foundation for BLKBURN—a studio dedicated to reconstructing authentic military garments by hand in Kingston, New York, preserving the character and history of the originals.

    STRATEGY

    GROSSMAN oversees Brand Strategy and Business Development for BLKBURN. With over 20 years of experience spanning the entertainment and fashion industries, including leadership roles at Columbia Records, he brings extensive expertise in brand development, strategic partnerships, and retail growth. His work has helped place products with retailers including Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Fred Segal. At BLKBURN, he helps shape the brand's long-term strategy, market positioning, and retail partnerships.

With over 20 years of experience in luxury retail, including leading Men's Contemporary Collections, Designer Footwear & Accessories at Saks Fifth Avenue, he brings a deep understanding of product, assortment, and the evolving luxury customer. His perspective helps guide BLKBURN's collections from concept to market while maintaining the studio's commitment to craftsmanship and authenticity.
